After supporting custom software solutions in the digital pathology space for many years at Slash-m GmbH, Martin envisioned a modular software platform, where individual components could be combined in countless ways to address the diverse workflows in pathology. From the very beginning, it was clear that these modules needed to be open-source to truly impact the industry and foster standardization. Today, cytario® continues to be part of Slash-m GmbH while we are working towards establishing it as an independent company, fully dedicated to our mission of connecting pathology.
